QUESTION

What is the difference between Classic and Volume Lashes?

Classic lashes add length and curl to your lashes by the placement of one lash per natural lash. So for instance, if you have 100 natural lashes, I can place a maximum of 100 lashes on your eye. This is great for clients who have lots of natural lashes to start with.

If you wanted to add density, Volume lashes are the way forward. By using a super precision technique, I create tiny fans made of ultra light lashes and place it on a single lash, multiplying the look of your natural lashes. So a 3D set means I can place upto 300 lashes on your eyes if you have 100 natural lashes.

QUESTION

Do they damage your own lashes?

Our lashes naturally shed at the end of its life span. When a lash is correctly placed onto your lashes, it will grow as it would do normally and shed when it is ready. The lashes we place on are so light, they will feel as light as your own.

QUESTION

How do I look after them?

Aftercare is vital to keep your lashes healthy and maintained.

You will be provided with a full aftercare kit at your first appointment. This will contain lash shampoo, and brushes to keep them clean and tidy.

  • Keep them completely dry for 24 hours after each treatment. After that they are completely waterproof.

  • Use oil free products. Oil breaks down the adhesive which will result in your lashes coming away from your lash. Be wary of hidden oils in shampoos, conditioners, face washes, face wipes... They are the common culprit as to why your lashes may not be lasting.

  • Wash your lashes daily using products from your aftercare kit. This gets rid of oils from our skin, bacteria collected, everything!

  • Pat your lashes dry. No rubbing.

  • Brush lashes daily to keep them neat. Brush downwards whilst your eyes are closed and support your lashes with your forefinger.

  • Avoid make up in the eye area (SORRY). Honestly girls, Do we really need it?

  • Do not curl your lashes. We will add a curl to your lashes so no need to panic!

  • Limit steam, saunas and HOT showers for long periods. The adhesive and heat are not the best of friends!

  • Schedule your infill every 3 to 4 weeks to keep them full and healthy.

QUESTION

How often do I need them infilled?

It is important to infill your lashes regularly to keep them looking fresh. Outgrown lashes look sightly but can also cause your lashes to twist onto themselves causing irritation. Try and stick to 3 to 4 weeks. Anything later than 4 weeks would have too many lashes grown out which will mean starting a brand new set again.

QUESTION

Can I swim with them?

Yes, you can swim in them after the 24hrs curing period. With all that chlorine and oil in the water, make sure you wash your lashes after too.
